I love this quote:
“We may after baptism and confirmation become companions of the Holy Ghost who will teach us the ways of the Lord, quicken our minds and help us to understand the truth.”
It reminds me that it is our decision to receive the Holy Ghost, and that we can have this great gift of being companions with the Holy Ghost. We can be friends and companions if we seek His companionship. He comes to us in our own physical place if we go to him in his spiritual place.

Speculation: Is it possible that He can visit each person on Earth at once or separately not because he can split himself in to billions of pieces but because he stays still and we go to him?
Perhaps we don't realize just how close we all are to one another and to those on the other side of the veil.

A right is a basic principle every person is born with. Something which is there by a natural course that if others try to take it away from us it is a grievous sin, or if we voluntarily give it up it is the same. These include:
Life
Agency: Freedom to choose spiritual liberty or death AND Physical Freedom to choose ones own course and happiness
Guidance from the Holy Ghost via personal Revelation
Chastity


Sometimes we need to be reminded of these rights, that they are ours because Satan tries very hard (sometimes using other people) to get us to give them up, or to convince others to try to take them.
